B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) Admission :
Bachelor of education which we also call B.Ed. is one of the best degree programs or course offered in India. B.Ed. is mandatory for teaching profession in higher primary and higher School. B.Ed. is a degree course program offered for those who are interested in pursuing career in teaching in schools it can be private schools or government schools. The duration of B.Ed course is of two year from 2015. So now B.Ed. for current Session will be of two years. B.Ed. program aims to provide a holistic educational experience for the student–teachers so that they can develop standard in the 21 century teaching professional ready to bring about enhanced learning outcomes for students in the 21 century classroom. Accordingly, the 2-year B.Ed course aims at a complete development of the student teacher; particularly knowledge and skills, in individual care of the learner and also in the methods and evaluation designed to facilitate learning. Interactive processes, i.e, group reflection, critical thinking and meaning-making have been encouraged. The maturity of student-teachers has been kept in mind while visualizing modes of learning engagements; instead of continuous teacher monitoring, greater autonomy to learners has been given in accordance with androgenic principles of learning. The syllabus retains the essence of student-teachers being active participants in the learning process and prepares the student-teachers for facing the emerging challenges resulting out of globalization and its consequences. B.Ed. course can also be done through correspondence or distance learning or distance education in India. Some universities providing correspondence B.Ed in India are IGNOU, KSOU and many others.
